The map below is part of an ongoing effort to inventory the region’s bicycle and pedestrian network.
The map originated in 2009 as part of the PACTS Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan. Much of the original data collection for this map was done by Bruce Hyman, Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator for the City of Portland, and Judy Colby-George of Spatial Alternatives.
The data was then updated in 2013 by GPCOG, as part of the Sustain Southern Maine Initiative, to show major changes only (Veteran’s Bridge, Martin’s Point Bridge, etc.). Please note the information in this map should not be considered fully accurate or up-to-date.
