Transit Committee

The Transit Committee advises the Policy Committee on strategic public passenger transit issues, and submits to the Policy Committee a recommendation regarding the allocation of FTA §5307 Urban Formula Funds. The Transit Committee also reviews and scores proposals, and recommends to the Policy Committee proposals for use of the Public Transportation set-aside. The Transit Committee also selects representatives to the other three PACTS standing committees.

Regional Transit Study Committee

As a result of the Destination Tomorrow 2006 priority-setting process, the Policy Committee established as a priority the establishment of a Regional Transit Study Committee to study the consolidation of the transit systems in the PACTS area.
