Portland Martin’s Point Pathway

Purpose: To develop a concept design for a Martin’s Point Pathway/East Coast Greenway Connector which will provide a safe, Martin's Point trailconvenient and attractive shared use pathway connection from Tukey’s Bridge/Back Cove Trail to the Martin’s Point Bridge.

Status: Consultant to be hired in the summer of 2014. Study completion in 2015.

Budget: $35,000

Scope: Provide an off-road alternative for cyclists and pedestrians of all ages and abilities to more safely travel on the East Coast Greenway route through the East Deering neighborhood in Portland from the Back Cove Trail to the Martin’s Point Bridge providing greater regional connectivity between Portland and Falmouth to the north.

Martin’s Point Shared Use Path Design Feasibility Study
