Public Comment Sought on Draft PACTS Transportation Improvement Program
Posted: January 12th, 2018 Deadline: Mon, Jan 22, 2018
The draft PACTS Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for years 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 is now available for public comment. Please send your comments and questions to Paul Niehoff at firstname.lastname@example.org (or 774-9891, extension 207) by 4:00 p.m., January 22nd. These capital projects, and transit operations funds, are federally-funded projects that PACTS has already selected, plus many MaineDOT-selected bridge, interstate, CMAQ and safety projects. See below for documents. The errata document tracks additions and revisions to the TIP document and will be incorporated into the TIP and STIP as final documents.
MaineDOT and PACTS annually submit the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) and the PACTS TIP to the Federal Highway and Transit Administrations. The FHWA and FTA may not release the federal funds for any of the projects without this support from PACTS.
